Trump-Koch-Bastiat

The podcast that brought this Trump-Koch-Bastiat thought up

I have observed and believe that a lot of the power is hidden and not covered by the media. Here are some things to consider regarding "following the money"..

I don't really believe what comes out of his mouth. Where is his money actually going? and to what efforts is it going to? I bet there was an agreement with Tim and Koch to not discuss "certain issues" on the podcast. I'd be surprised if there was not. If really there was no such agreement, then let there be a follow up interview with some different questions for Charles, based on the above web sites. It seems the Koch network does a lot to undercut the environment and protections. I don't like that, since I have to live on this earth for a while longer, and so dear reader, do you also. Make your own judgments..

Charles Koch has read and is a "follower" to some degreee of Frédéric Bastiat (Koch mentions him in the podcast). I read a while ago that Bastiat wrote about and believed that societial instability benefits companies, and those companies should seek that instability, but I could not find where I read that the first time. Well, I think the Koch machine/network has put much instability in the White House--may we survive this ride..

Sun Magazine has Jim Hightower

The Sun Magazine had an interesting article ("Thieves in High Places", Jim Hightower..below is a part I really agree with:

“The problem with developing a progressive movement is that we’re not a unified, march in step sort of people. What I’ve found in my travels is that we have all the elements of a progressive movement in place in this country, but the elements don’t know each other: they’re not connected. So why not give people a reason to get together?”
“It is simply cheaper for some US chemical companies to let the occasional worker get blown up than to adopt the same safety precautions companies follow in germany, japan, and elsewhere.”
“I think the democratic party and liberals in general make a mistake in not reaching out to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Yes, small businesses can be small minded, but they have an extraordinary amount in common with progressives, not just in terms of issues, but in terms of philosophy and culture as well.”
